I have been thinking of Mother Teresa lately and I was glad to see this little statue in a gift shop. She was a tireless defender and helper to the poorest people: the homeless, the orphan, the dying, the hungry, the uneducated, the unborn, the sick, the unloved. She nursed and fed and taught and snuggled. She made such a difference with so many vulnerable In the model of Christ. But she also said the biggest impact you can make in a world gone wrong is with your family. The start of a better world is in your own house. So today, I’m doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms with gusto. Love starts at home.
